Sara is a French-Israeli who came to live in Israel in January 2019 after she obtained her Ph.D. in History from the University of Colorado - Boulder. She has an MA in History and International Relations from the Institut d’Études Politiques - Sciences Po Paris, and an MA in Ancient History and Archaeology from the Université Paris X - Nanterre. She has been teaching in high schools and universities in France, the US, and Israel since 2007. Her research interests focus on the creation of Israel in the diplomatic landscape of the early Cold War, the US-Soviet relations and Jewish refugees after World War II. She lives in Hod HaSharon with her husband, their one-year old son, and their dog and cats.
